Kim’s Talk

The Untapped Superpower of North East England

Kim comes to TEDxNewcastle to offer her ideas on how we should be thinking about the untapped superpower that separates the North East and how we can leverage our superpower into a brighter and far more inclusive future.

Kim will present her ideas on the future of the North East based on her experience as the Northumbria Police and Crime Commissioner and former councillor. (Please note that Kim’s inclusion at TEDxNewcastle should not be considered an endorsement of her as a political candidate.)

A Police & Crime Commissioner

Kim McGuinness was born in Newcastle, attended Gosforth High School and graduated from Newcastle University. She is currently the Police and Crime Commissioner for Northumbria.
